  The new project “A Process for Preparing Liposoluble Substance Microencapsulated Wall Materials Using Starch as a Raw Material,” developed by the microcapsule R&D team of Jiangxi Weierbao Food & Bio Co., Ltd., has been granted a patent. This process for preparing liposoluble substance microencapsulated wall materials using starch as a raw material involves controlling the moisture content of starch under negative pressure and directly heating it to partially disrupt the crystallinity of the starch. Then, using octenyl succinic anhydride as an esterifying agent, an esterification reaction is carried out. After water washing and centrifugation, the resulting octenyl succinic starch ester undergoes a post-processing step that combines spray drying with fluidized-bed thermal conversion, thereby producing starch ester wall materials microencapsulating liposoluble core substances. The invention features a novel production process that is simple to operate, with easily controllable production parameters, making it well-suited for continuous industrial production. The resulting product is stable, has low production costs, and generates minimal pollution.
